Big Sal's round Steak

Today you should eat something that brings you joy. Try Big Sal's round steak and balsamic mash potatoes for a meal that will fill your heart up.

Steak with Gravy


1 – 1 ½ lbs. boneless beef round steak
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper 
1 cup milk or broth
oil for frying

Mix the flour, salt and pepper together, you can add any other spices you like to use in this step. Pat your round steak completely dry and coat both sides in the flour. On medium heat add your oil for frying into a medium sized skillet. Fry each of the round steaks and set aside. 
In the pan you fried the steak in add more flour until the leftover juices become a paste. Once it is a paste add 1 cup milk or broth and whisk until it becomes thick. 
Place your steaks into a casserole dish and cover them with the sauce you made from the reserved juices. Put into the oven at 350°F for one hour and serve over Balsamic Mashed Potatoes
