Saigon Smash Pork Burgers
We wanted to put a spin on the typical burger, by using major umami flavors. We started with ground pork and mixed in grated ginger, garlic, carrots, scallions and green onion. Toasted our buns and topped this baby off with a healthy dose of Bellisari's Saigon Street Sauce. This burger is a flavor bomb -- we are positive you are going to love it!
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
• 1 pound of ground pork
• 1/2 cup green onion, diced
• 1 cup carrots, grated
• 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
• 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
• 1/2 cup micro greens
• 3 tablespoons Bellisari's Saigon Street Sauce
Directions
• In a medium sized bowl, mix together pork, green onion, carrots, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper.
• Roll the meat mixture into 4 to 6 meatball sized balls.
• Heat up your pan to medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, place the balls of pork onto the skillet and press them down with a spatula until they are flat and thin. Cook all the way through.
• In a small bowl mix together micro greens, cilantro and Bellisari's Saigon Street Sauce.
• Toast buns and assemble.
