Short Cake Phyllo Shell Bites

Phyllo Shells

4 tablespoons butter
2 cups mixed berries
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons Bellisari's Phyllo Shells
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup bourbon or whiskey
pinch of salt
1 angel food cake
Start by browning your butter over medium heat in a pan. In a medium
size bowl coat your berries in the sugar and flour mixture. Once
butter is brown add your berries to the pan, add vanilla, lemon juice,
pinch of salt and bourbon or whiskey and let it cook down until the berries break down and there is a thick liquid. **Add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter.**
Let cool for 10 minutes. To assemble the bites use Bellisari's Phyllo Shells and place a one inch cube of angel food cake in Phyllo Shells and pour the berry mixture over the angel food cake and enjoy.
