Slow Cooker Apple & Fig Oatmeal
Perfect to cozy up with in the mornings when the temperature begins to drop.
1 cup steel-cut oats
4 cups almond milk
2 apples, chopped
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp Blistered Jalapeno & Fig Spread
Splash of lemon juice
Optional - 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Apply coconut oil to the inside of the slow cooker to prevent anything from getting stuck. Add all ingredients and stir! Cook on low for 8 hours (high for 4 hours). Make sure to stir after finished cooking. When reheating, add a tbsp or two of almond milk.
