Balsamic Chicken & Dumplings
A classic recipe that is made even easier with Bellisari's. Use our award winning Balsamic, Shallot & Black Garlic spread for a full flavored meal. Works best in a 6 quart slow cooker.
2 lbs skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 diced sweet onion
2 cans cream of chicken
3 cups chicken broth
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 jar Balsamic, Shallot & Black Garlic Spread
1 package 8-count refrigerated biscuit dough
Add all ingredients, excluding the biscuit dough, to your slow cooker and mix well. Cook on high for 3 hours (or low for 6 hours). When the chicken is cooked and is tender, shred using two forks. Flatten the biscuits and cut into 1" pieces and add to the slow cooker. Stir everything to combine. Cook on high for one more hour (until biscuits are light and fluffy).
