Phyllo Shells


4 tablespoons butter
2 cups mixed berries
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons Bellisari's Phyllo Shells
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup bourbon or whiskey
pinch of salt
1 angel food cake


Start by browning your butter over medium heat in a pan. In a medium-size bowl coat your berries in the sugar and flour mixture. Once butter is brown add your berries to the pan, add vanilla, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and bourbon or whiskey and let it cook down until the berries break down and there is a thick liquid. **Add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter.**

Let cool for 10 minutes. To assemble the bites use Bellisari's Phyllo Shells and place a one-inch cube of angel food cake in Phyllo Shells and pour the berry mixture over the angel food cake and enjoy.
