Posted by Annette Bellisari on

This is the Labor Day recipe you didn't know you needed! Our twist on baked beans is adding a jar of Saigon Street Sauce. This can be added to pre-made baked beans, or you can follow our homemade recipe below for Saigon Baked Beans!

Baked Beans

Serves 6-8

15 ounces canned Navy Beans
15 ounces canned Great Northern Beans
15 ounces canned Pinot Beans
8 ounces of thick cut bacon, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 yellow onion, diced
1 jar of Bellisari's Saigon Street Sauce
2 tablespoons Ketchup
2 tablespoons molasses
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

In a medium sized pan cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon, but leave the oil and cook the diced onion and pepper together until soft. In a dutch oven or casserole dish add the assortment of beans, bacon, onion, pepper, Bellisari's Saigon Street Sauce, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar and spices. Mix it all together and bake at 400 for one hour. Enjoy!
