With your grill prepped and ready to go, make our Grilled Barista Artichokes, serve with Bellisari’s Blue Cheese, Honey & Shallot Spread.
1/2 jar Bellisari’s Barista Sauce
2 tbs olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Wash your artichoke with cold water and remove stray leaves from the stem. With kitchen, shears remove the pointy tips of the leaves and peel the stem of the artichoke. Remove the fibrous end of the stem and cut your artichoke in half. Clean out the furry center with a spoon or sharp knife.
Boil a large pot of water and then steam the halved artichokes for roughly 45 minutes.
Turn your grill to high heat, brush the steamed artichoke halves with olive oil and grill them open side down. After 5 minutes remove the artichokes and brush them with Bellisari’s Barista Sauce and place them back on the grill for another 5 minutes or until they are caramelized.
