Barista Braised Beef

Try our Barista braised beef for a warm meal that still incorporates the the bright flavors of Fall.

Braised Meat

4 lb beef chuck
1 jar of Bellisari's Barista Sauce
2 cup beef broth
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2 small onions, halved and thinly sliced
2 carrots, diced
2 ribs celery, diced
2 sprigs rosemary
2 sprigs thyme
2 bay leaves
3 garlic cloves, minced


Preheat your oven to 250°F. Bring a cast-iron skillet or dutch oven to medium heat on your stove-top. Melt half of the butter and add the onions, carrots, garlic, and celery. Cook until golden and soft, remove the vegetables from the skillet. 
Pat your beef dry and season with salt, pepper, and your other favorite spices. melt the other half of the butter in your pan and sear each side of the beef until a crust on each side, about 5 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
In the hot pan whisk together the beef broth and Bellisari's Barista Sauce. Add the vegetables back to the pan and lay the beef on top. Add in the rosemary, thyme, and bay leaves. 
Cover and cook for 4-5 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Enjoy!
