Food For Thought: Holiday Parties and Fun-Sized Foods

Posted by Annette Bellisari on

If there is a great time to plan a party, it's the holiday season; this time of year just lends itself too entertaining, doesn’t it? With your house all decorated inside and out, it’s the perfect time to have people over. When you think about it, don’t get overwhelmed with extravagant plans that will stress you out. Instead plan something simple but elegant that loved ones will still be remembering fondly for years to come. Making holiday memories is what’s important!

Holiday parties are great because decorations are already done just using the festive holiday decor you display year after year. There’s no need to buy all new items for one party; most people love to see things that are traditional at your house. From the Elf on the Shelf to the fresh greenery on the porch, the charm of holiday lights, figures, and icons are the perfect background for a celebration.

Of course, a holiday party wouldn't be complete without special foods, but there’s no need to make this part of your gathering difficult either. These recipes for fun-sized foods will bring big flavors with very little effort and are gourmet convenience at its finest. Your guests will be popping these bite-sized foods in their mouths faster than you can say “Kris Kringle!” 🧑‍🎄

Mascarpone cheese and our Blistered Jalapeno and Fig Spread bring together those cravable sweet and salty flavors with just the slightest bit of spice.

The above are just a few of my favorite simple Bellisari’s recipes. Find many more under the recipe tab on our website.

Aside from the decorations and food, try to find other ways to make your party memorable. Giving out party favors, playing games, exchanging gifts, going caroling, clearing the floor for dancing, featuring an unexpected theme, taking lots of pictures – there are so many ways to make your party fun and memorable. Happy party planning from all of us at Bellisari’s!
