Blue Cheese Swedish Meatballs

Swedish Meatballs


1 package of frozen homestyle meatballs or homemade
1 cup beef broth
1 jar Bellisari’s Blue Cheese Honey & Shallot Spread
½ teaspoon allspice
½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon cornstarch + water
black pepper to taste
Chopped Parsley for Garnish

Combine beef broth, Bellisari’s Blue Cheese Honey & Shallot Spread, allspice, nutmeg and pepper into a pot and bring to a boil. Place cornstarch into enough cold water to create a slurry and add into the boiling sauce.

Place the meatballs into a slow cooker and pour the sauce over them. 1-2hr cook time on high, or 3-4hr on low, or until meatballs are ready.
 Garnish with parsley and serve by themselves, pasta, rice or potatoes.
