Brand Ambassador

Bellisari's is an Ohio based small batch Specialty Food Company that specializes in upscale spreads and sauces, all with unique and on-trend flavor profiles. We are about "Gourmet Convenience" bringing friends, family and food together in a celebration of togetherness.

Join our winning team as a Brand Ambassador promoting our products at your local retailers. We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly, reliable individuals to join our team. We hire people who enjoy interacting with the public and have a passion for food. You can be the one who excels in captivating an audience during in-store events, with an emphasis on brand awareness, sampling, retail sales and building customer loyalty. We will provide training and all the necessary supplies. Our pay rate is $20 per hour and possible commissions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Create brand awareness and positive impressions of our product by engaging consumers through sampling and demonstrating our gourmet products. A Bellisari's Brand Ambassador serves as the face of our products to consumers at selling events in the field. They are responsible for performing selling events in order to build awareness of best-in-class products, by communicating unique value and encouraging trial.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set up, break down, product preparation and sampling during in-store selling events.
  • Clean and professional appearance required.
  • Actively draw in customers to the event table and drive sales
  • Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales.
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Offer promotional materials to customers (e.g., recipes, brochures, business cards, etc.)
  • Submit required paperwork and suggestions and comments from customers and managers.
  • Order supplies as needed.

Selling events are generally 4 hours long and occur between 10 am - 8 pm. We are hoping to bring candidates on board who are reliable, motivated, and eager to promote the Bellisari's brand awareness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior promotional demonstrating experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
  • Must be comfortable addressing and engaging the public.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, turn, twist and stand.
  • Must be able to stand for entire time of selling event (from 4 to 5 hours).
  • Access to a reliable transportation.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to travel within a limited geography.

Ability to be trained and to follow basic Food Safety Guidelines as provided by Bellisari's

Sales Representative

Bellisari's Gourmet Spreads and Sauces

Base plus Commission

Join our winning team as a Sales Representative driving new business with area retail accounts. We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly, reliable individuals to join our team. We hire people who enjoy interacting with people, have a drive to succeed, and have a passion for food. You can be the one who excels in bringing Bellisari's Spreads and Sauces to new consumers, with an emphasis on the right placement, the right retail partner and exemplary brand placement. We will provide training and all the necessary resources. We offer base salary, commissions, bonus and mileage reimbursement.

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Representative who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. Our ideal candidate will deliver a professional presentation to customers and uphold the ideals and standards of our company. The successful Sales Representative will constantly strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations.   A Bellisari's Sales Representative serves as the face of our company to customers in the field. They are responsible for performing all selling activities in order to build a customer base and serve existing customers with best in class customer service.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and secure new business within various channels of retail.
  • Manage entire sales cycle from closing to delivery.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge and be the expert resource to both customers and consumers.
  • Clean and professional appearance required.
  • Submit required paperwork and attend weekly meetings with leadership.
  • Ability to understand basic math principles such as gross, net, margin and promotions.
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and handle customer issues in a timely basis.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to use basic computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email)
  • Complete and submit electronic and/or written reports of daily and weekly activities, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within assigned territory using company approved methods and technology.
  • Ability to merchandise shelves and displays for customers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED and 3 or more years recent sales or customer service experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
  • Must be comfortable addressing and engaging the public.
  • Access to a reliable transportation.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to be trained and to follow basic Food Safety Guidelines as provided by Bellisari's.
  • Must reside within territory boundaries.
  • Must be able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily.
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends and overnight stays as required by the territory.
  • Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs. on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop down and demonstrate manual dexterity on a frequent basis with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to use tablet technology; some roles will require an intermediate level of computer skills with the Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have daily access to wireless internet.
  • Must have flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
